Thomas Cuvelier has been appointed Chief of Staff to Monique Barbut, Minister for Ecological Transition, Biodiversity and International Negotiations on Climate and Nature, by the order of 13/10/2025 published in the Journal officiel on 14/10/2025.

Thomas Cuvelier was Chief of Staff to Olga Givernet when she was Minister Delegate for Energy in Michel Barnier's government. He performed the same duties for Patricia Mirallès, Secretary of State for Veterans and Remembrance, from July 2022 to September 2024, after serving as parliamentary assistant to the Vice-Chairman of the National Defence and Armed Forces Committee at the National Assembly (2020-2022).

A graduate of Sciences Po Aix, he also holds a Masters 1 and 2 in Political Science and International Economics from Aix-Marseille University.
