FR /Annie Genevard reappointed Minister for Agriculture, Food and and Food Sovereignty

Annie Genevard has been reappointed Minister for Agriculture, Food and Food Sovereignty in Sébastien Lecornu's (second) Government, the French Presidency announced on 12/10/2025.

She has held the post since September 2024.

The new government announced on 12/10/205 comprises 34 ministers, compared with 15 ministers in Sébastien Lecornu's first Government 1. A Council of Ministers meeting will be held on 14/10/2025, at 10am, at the Élysée Palace.

Sébastien Lecornu was appointed Prime Minister by Emmanuel Macron, President of the Republic, on 09/09/2025, then resigned on 06/10/2025. He was reappointed Prime Minister on 10/10/2025. He is due to deliver his general policy speech to the National Assembly on 14/10/2025.
