FR / Seine Nourricière: "Operational tools to achieve the PAD's objectives" (A. Pulvar, Mairie de Paris)

"The aim, through Seine Nourricière (Nurturing Seine), is to achieve the objectives of the PAD (Plan d'Alimentation Durable / Sustainable Food Plan) for the City of Paris, while the neighbouring local authorities have their own plans. Most of the other local authorities that are members of AgriParis Seine are committed to 70% sustainable produce, including 50% organic produce, which is still much higher than the objectives of the French Equalim law. For the moment, Seine Nourricière's first task is to put in place the operational tools that will enable us to achieve these objectives", says Audrey Pulvar, deputy mayor of Paris, responsible for sustainable food, agriculture and short distribution channels.

The City of Paris announced that its Seine Nourricière territorial demonstrator would enter its implementation phase on 06/10/2025. A total of 20 projects, ranging from marketing and storage to decarbonised logistics, have been selected.
