EU/ call for proposals: €188 M available to fund 16 clean mobility research projects (Horizon Europe)

Cross-sectoral solutions for the climate transition ; clean and competitive solutions for all transport modes ; Safe, resilient transport and smart mobility services for passengers and goods : these are the three destinations of the Horizon Europe call HORIZON-CL5-2026-01, covering 16 research topics, open until 20/01/2026.

These 16 topics will receive a total funding of €188 M, as part of Cluster 5 of the Horizon Europe program, targeting energy, climate action and mobility research actions. The programs open to proposals cover a wide array of uses and domains, from safety of micromobility devices users to low-carbon airflight technical thematics or inland waterways.

Cinea, the European climate, infrastructure and environment executive agency, runs Cluster 5 programs of Horizon Europe, EU's R&I program for 2021-2027, funded with a budget of €95,5 B.
