Nuclear power: 7 measures requested by the industry to support its development worldwide

To apply technological neutrality between clean energy sources in order to enable successful expansion of the energy sector : this is the first of the seven measures called for by nine representatives of the global nuclear industry in a joint statement published on 19/09/2025. The document follows the 3^rd "Roadmaps to New Nuclear" conference organised by the OECD's Nuclear Energy Agency (NEA) and the South Korean government's Ministry of Trade, Industry and Energy in Paris on 18 and 19/09/2025.

During the conference, the global nuclear industry, through its representatives, reaffirmed its commitment to ensuring the safety and security of nuclear installations, providing reliable, affordable and low-carbon electricity and heat, contributing, alongside other energy sources, to energy security and climate objectives, and providing long-term employment.
