Agenda of the week: events not to be missed between the 22 and 26/09/2025

This week will be marked by the Agrifish Council, which takes place in Brussels, on the same days as the Environment Committee of the Parliament. Marchers of the "Back to the Future" march against "EU deregulation" may cross high representatives, as their finish line is in Schuman, at the heart of the EU institutions.

For the industrials of the renewable sector, the 42^nd European Photovoltaic Solar Energy Conference will take place in Bilbao (Spain), and an OFATE conference on offshore wind will take place in Paris.

The week will also be marked by the UN Secretary General Climate Summit, on the margins of the UNGA (General Assembly) in New York. Countries still have to submit their NDCs before 30/09/2025, and the EU has just agreed upon a "Statement of intent" as it doesn't have an NDC yet.
