EC: evolution of SAFs antidumping duties for USA, Argentina, China and Indonesia

To include SAFs in the list of American biodiesels subject to antidumping or countervailing duties; to extend monitoring of SAFs imports from the Popular Republic of China; to include SAFs in the perimeter of countervailing duties on imports of biodiesel originating from Argentina; to include SAFs in the perimeter of countervailing duties on imports of biodiesel originating from Indonesia: the European Commission published a series of delegated acts, on 15/09/2025, to clarify and strengthen its antidumping policies on SAFs seen as biodiesels.

Imports of SAFs from the USA, Argentina and Indonesia are now subject to antidumping or countervailing duties, as biodiesels already are, while monitoring of SAFs imports from China is extended.

TARIC codes lists of these products from each countries have been edited, and status of various biodiesels, including SAFs, have been clarified in five regulations.
