SGPI (FR) : Luc Mathis Director of the Ecological, Industrial and Agricultural Transition Division

Luc Mathis has been appointed director of the Ecological, Industrial and Agricultural Transition division of the Secrétariat Général pour l'Investissement ( SGPI / French State General Secretariat for Investment), the SGPI announced on 03/09/2025. He replaces Patrick Olivier, who was appointed Director of Télécom Paris in March 2025 and had held the post since March 2022.

The SGPI is responsible, under the authority of the Prime Minister, for ensuring the coherence and monitoring of the State's investment policy through the roll-out of the France 2030 plan launched in October 2021.

Luc Mathis, who is an Ingénieur en chef des Ponts, was previously national coordinator of the France 2030 measures for the digitalisation and decarbonisation of mobility since February 2022. He was also deputy director for digital issues at Cerema between September 2019 and February 2022 and head of the scientific and technical network coordination office at the CGDD (Commissariat Général du Développement Durable) between May 2016 and August 2019.
