EV Charging/collective housing: "A tailored financing offer for outdoor car parks" (R. Soukkar, Logivolt)

'As of today, we are launching a financing offer dedicated to requests for EV charging solutions in outdoor car parks in private condominiums in France and overseas,' Rita Soukkar, Logivolt's Director of Development and Institutional Relations, told News Tank on 04/09/2025.

Until now, the Caisse des Dépôts subsidiary, which specialises in financing EV charging infrastructure for collective, private and social housing, has not financed outdoor car parks in private condominiums due to the associated costs and technical constraints. However, with the support of its partners, Logivolt has found an alternative to roadworks by offering above-ground solutions that can equip all car park spaces.

'Home EV charging remains the most popular solution, used in 90% of cases, because it is the most affordable and simplest option. Logivolt will now be able to offer this service to all condominiums. Currently, 36% of car parks in residential condominiums are outdoors, says Rita Soukkar.
