EU: Open call for participation to become farmers network ambassadors / climate ambassadors (Climate KIC)

The EIT (European Institute of Innovation & Technology) Climate KIC launches two open calls for participation dedicated to individuals passionate by climate adaptation actions. The first open call, to become a Farmers' network ambassador, is open until 09/09/2025. The second open call, to become a DesirMED climate ambassador, is open until 31/12/2026.

To become a local ambassador of the Green Horizon Farmer Network, participants must be farmer advisors, representatives of a farmer cooperative or association, landscape managers or sustainable agriculture professionals, and come from the Eastern Netherlands, Ireland, Slovenia, Emilia Romagna (Italy), Sardinia (Italy), Portugal, Denmark, or Bulgaria.

"Ambassadors receive tailored methodologies, tools, and facilitation support from Climate KIC to help them empower farmers on their journey to sustainable farming. The role is voluntary and unpaid, but is rather an opportunity to contribute to the movement for a climate-resilient agriculture", explains Climate KIC managers.
