European Commission's event on climate action to take place on 30/09/2025 in Brussels

"Climate action that works for you: an agenda for competitiveness, prosperity and resilience" will take place on 30/09/2025 in Brussels, announces the European Commission's DG CLIMA (Directorate-General for Climate Action).

The event will gather together stakeholders and decision-makers to strengthen their collaboration and impact, in order to reach climate-neutrality by 2050. Speakers include Wopke Hoekstra, Commissioner for Climate, Net-Zero and Clean Growth, Kurt Vandenberghe, Director-General for Climate Action, Erica Blanckaert, Head of Sustainability of Invest Europe, and Sebastian Buckup, Managing Director of the World Economic Forum.

It will take place in Brussels and online, from 8:30 to 19:00. The Council's "Environment for Prosperity and Resilience" Conference will take place in Brussels on the same day, from 14:00 to 18:30.
