Axa Climate publishes a new study, entitled "Clés de la réussite et leviers pour maîtriser les risques économiques de la transition", on 02/09/2025.

Based on a detailed analysis of satellite, climatic and economic data, the study models several agro-ecological scenarios up to 2050 and presents experiments illustrating six changes in agro-ecological practices (reduction in chemical inputs, widespread use of plant cover crops, changes in tillage practices, etc.) that have already been implemented in the field, with monitoring and yield analysis tools and tailor-made risk management solutions developed by Axa Climate.

The study highlights that the agro-ecological transition can, in some cases, improve profitability, while in others it generates additional costs or increases exposure to risk. "In reality, there are as many transition paths as there are combinations of soils, climates, crops and practices", says Axa Climate.
