Ministry for Ecological Transition (FR) : V. Ménez replaced by E. Pasco-Viel as biodiversity adviser

Véronique Ménez's duties as Biodiversity Adviser in the Cabinet of Agnès Pannier-Runacher, Minister for Ecological Transition, Biodiversity, Forestry, the Sea and Fisheries, are terminated with effect from 04/09/2025 by an order dated 26/08/2025 and published in the Journal officiel of 30/08/2025. She had held this position since October 2024.

Véronique Ménez will be replaced by Emmanuel Pasco-Viel. He has been Head of the Biodiversity Policy Office within the DEB (Direction de l'Eau et de la Biodiversité) since May 2024. He was previously head of the ecological planning data project for Ecolab, the innovation laboratory for the ecological transition, within the CGDD (Commissariat Général au Développement Durable), from October 2023.
