'Many obstacles are placed in our path for reasons that are not always relevant. Ideology plays a big part, and our worst enemies today are a lack of understanding of certain issues and political manipulation. This has led some people to want to put the brakes on solar energy. However, we are a very agile and resilient industry. We are essentially virtuous and fast-moving, and the Fédération Nationale de l'Energie Solaire was also created to support companies that need to adapt their business model for the future', Floriane de Brabandère, President of the Fnes, told News Tank on 01/09/2025.

The Fnes was launched on 14/07/2025. "The Federation was created in response to a need from the industry itself. In recent months, we've been heckled, particularly by certain political parties, as well as by measures that have fragmented the industry. The idea was to create a structured body representing the entire industry", says Floriane de Brabandère.
