World Water Week to take place from 24 to 28/08/2025 in Stockholm (Sweden) and online

The 2025 edition of the World Water Week will take place from the 24 to the 28/08/2025 in Stockholm (Sweden) and online.

"This year’s theme is 'Water for Climate Action'. It will highlight the progress that’s been made and the challenges that remain", say the organisers. Discussions will include intersectoral cooperation and partnership, water advocacy and climate resilience, water in business, water scarcity and sustainability.

Participants include businesses and national governments and authorities, as well as researchers and civil society organisations.

"The event is an important annual moment for collective action and urgent water conversations across boundaries. It will be shaped by hundreds of convening organisations, driving positive change through capacity building and knowledge sharing", outlines the Stockholm International Water Institute.
