Climate change: Centre-Val de Loire (FR) and seven EU regions part of the Euradapt project

The Centre-Val de Loire French region, alongside seven other European regions, announced on 25/07/2025 its involvement into the Euradapt project, officially launched in Chiavenna (IT) on 24/06/2025.

Co-financed by the EU via the Interreg Europe programme, this strategic project, subtitled 'Improving regional policies at European level to increase adaptation to climate change', aims to strengthen regional policies for adapting to climate change through close collaboration between more advanced territories and more vulnerable regions. It has a total budget of €2,005,500.

Discussions will focus in particular on
• sustainable land use and food systems, including the resilience of agricultural systems, experimentation with new economic models and emerging technologies;
• sustainable water management, to guarantee the availability of water resources and reduce the risks of drought and flooding;
• the protection of critical infrastructures, by integrating climate resilience into the design and management of facilities;
• governance and citizen participation, by mobilising local stakeholders in…
