"From Safran to Airbus, via TotalEnergies, this strategic industry agreement aims at enabling French champions to maintain their leadership in the aeronautics industry and produce the low-carbon energy for tomorrow's aviation," Louise Tricoire, Senior Vice President Aviation and Marine fuels at TotalEnergies, told News Tank on 09/07/2025.

The SAF section of the "New Energy Systems" strategic industry agreement, signed on 18/06, sets out a 2024-2027 operational strategy for structuring a sustainable and competitive industry. It has been signed by the French government; Stéphane Michel, CEO of TotalEnergies Gas, Renewables & Powe; Laurent Bataille, co-chairman of the CSF and Chairman of Schneider Electric France; Anne Rigail, CEO of Air France; Christian Gauthier, head of the CSF's SAF working group and Executive Vice President for Transformation and Sustainable Development at Air France; and representatives of the five employee trade unions.
