INRAE/Bpifrance: partnership dedicated to deep-tech start-ups to support agrifood transitions

On 03/07/2025, Inrae, Bpifrance and Inrae Transfert signed a structuring partnership agreement to accelerate the transformation of scientific results into "concrete, high-impact" innovations for the agri-food and environmental transitions, they announced on 07/07/2025.

"By joining forces with Inrae, we are strengthening a key link in the French Deeptech Plan for agriculture, food and the environment. This partnership is both strategic and exemplary, combining support, transparency and the ambition to make an impact", says David Boujo, Deputy Director of Deeptech at Bpifrance.

This collaboration between Inrae, Inrae Transfert and Bpifrance aims to structure a complete support pathway for deeptech projects, from the identification of research results to fundraising, including training for project leaders and access to expertise, funding and infrastructure:
• strengthening start-up detection and creation mechanisms, via Inrae's START And GROw programme, in conjunction with specialised start-up studios;
