Swen Capital Partners is launching its new impact strategy with the forthcoming first closing of its €40m "Swen Terra" fund, the sustainable investment player announced on 30/06/2025.
With a fundraising target of €200 million, the fund is backed by Macif and Abeille Assurances, which are brands of the Aéma Group. It is also supported by Suravenir, Crédit Mutuel Arkéa's personal insurance subsidiary.

Swen Terra will take minority equity stakes in three categories of assets:
• agricultural assets already operated using regenerative farming practices,
• agricultural assets already operated using conventional practices and in transition to regenerative practices,
• or logistics assets, processing units and distribution networks for regenerative and sustainable agricultural products.

The company aims to create around ten agricultural companies, managed by experienced farmers, each of which will be able to invest in five to ten farms. In all, around a hundred farms could be financed across Europe, covering all types of crops.

The fund's first investment will be in GreenPods. Created in 2020…
