EU : CINEA preparing the ground for the introduction of nature credits through Green Assist

Helping a pioneering mission-oriented enterprise, Restore, to define and implement its nature-based investment vehicles : the European Agency for Climate, Infrastructure and Network Innovation, CINEA, through its Green Assist advisory program, carried on its exploring way onto the introduction of nature-based credits, announced CINEA on 30/06/2025.

Restore is a French company, founded in october 2024, which aims to design, implement and market investment vehicles dedicated to biodiversity restauration and conservation through the issuance of biodiversity certificates. In return, investors would be associated with the generation of environmental value that could potentially be certified and recognised in the future though accredited methodology.

Green Assist provided advisory support to help refine the financial structure and clarify the value proposition of the proposed vehicle on the Peruvian pilot on nature credits, directed towards the National Parc Sierra Del Divisor, coordinated by the Peruvian authorities and Fronterra, a French-Peruvian nature-based solutions project…
