Biogas / Waga Energy: inauguration of a new workshop to double its production capacity

Waga Energy is aiming to double its production of Wagabox units by inaugurating a new industrial workshop in Eybens (Isère / France) on 26/06/2025.

This new facility is a boilermaking workshop for cryogenic equipment. "Cryogenic distillation is at the heart of the Wagabox units, which produce biomethane at landfill sites. Coupled with membrane filtration, it enables methane to be separated from other gases using a patented process that is unique in the world", says Waga Energy.

The new plant, which will be jointly operated with Ravanat, a company specialising in the manufacture of cryogenic equipment, will enable Waga Energy to continue its international expansion and achieve its growth targets.

In 2025, Waga Energy celebrates its 10^th anniversary. Its first Wagabox was installed in France in 2017. Since then, Waga Energy has exported its solution to the United States, Canada, Spain, Italy, the United Kingdom and Brazil, where it opened a subsidiary in February 2025.
