"We are committed to building a joint Franco-German agenda by September 2025 to relaunch the Europe of industry and energy. Europe's industrial and energy sovereignty are powered by the Franco-German engine: without competitive energy, there can be no strong industry; without a strong industry, there can be no sovereign Europe.
We are pursuing an energy strategy based on technological neutrality; a voluntary European industrial policy in the context of global competition; and a clear commercial vision to strengthen the CBAM and embark on a reciprocal trade agenda", declared Marc Ferracci, French Minister Delegate for Industry and Energy, during his hearing at the plenary session of the Franco-German Parliamentary Assembly in Paris on 16/06/2025. He was speaking alongside Katherina Reiche, the German Minister for Economic Affairs and Energy.
