E-mobility: "The government must define a clear strategy" (Mobilians)

The EV charging operators grouped within the French association Mobilians are calling on the French Government to define "a clear and sustainable strategy for electromobility" as part of the Ambition France Transports funding conference, said the organisation on 11/06/2025.

"Mobilians notes that, at this stage, the debates have not really addressed the challenges of deploying and funding recharging infrastructures, despite the fact that this is a major issue for accelerating the electrification of the vehicle fleet," says Mobilians.

"The latest developments in the institutional debate, particularly the likely revision of CO2 emission targets, show that the strategy is not as clear-cut as it used to be."

The employers' organisation has put forward a number of proposals and expectations for developing e-mobility and achieving the Government's target of 400,000 public EV charging points by 2030.
