COP 30: first high-level dialogues on the energy transition within the EU

The European Commission is hosting the first of a series of high-level dialogues on the energy transition, organised jointly by the COP 30 Presidency and the IEA, in Brussels, on 11/06/2025.

" COP 30 will focus on accelerating the global transition away from fossil fuels and making progress on global commitments to triple renewable energies capacity and double energy efficiency improvements by 2030," said the institution, the 11/06/2025.

The EU's position ahead of the next COP 30 will also be discussed at the meeting of EU environment ministers on 17/06/2025.

COP 30 will be held from 10 to 21/11/2025 in Belém (Brazil).
